My Final Post

As the blog assignment ends for my creative writing class, I found that keeping up with a blog is not one of my strong suits. I didn't really keep my promise in what I told the readers I would focus my blog on. I really wanted to focus on making food, and I was hoping that it would motivate me to actually make recipes. As the weeks went on, I wasn't really enjoying making new stuff, so I changed the focus of the blog. I made it more about food and restaurants in general. I actually enjoyed doing that, mostly because it was more convenient for me to do that during the week. I still like to cook, but this blog made me realize that I like it better when I am allowed to do what I want, whenever I want. I really did enjoy making this blog, and I hope to look back at it in the future.

I'm going to leave you with the best food item I have eaten in a long time.

Homemade Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

Here is a recipe for a homemade Strawberry Frozen Yogurt!

I made this with my mom over vacation, but I have don't have any pictures of the actual froyo I made, though it does look exactly like what is pictured. 5-Minute Healthy Strawberry Frozen Yogurt #recipe

The recipe is really easy and simple, and it turns out great!

All you need is:

4 cups of frozen strawberries

3 Tablespoons of honey or agave nectar

1/2 cup of plain yogurt

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Combine all of these ingredients into a food processor.
It depends on the food processor you have, but mine could not hold all of the ingredients at one time, so I had to do three different cycles.

The recipe calls for five minutes in the food processor, but I found that after three you should be all set.

If you are doing more than one cycle, taste it and adjust the amounts of yogurt or lemon juice, because it all really depends on how you like it!

Store in the freezer for up to a month! If you put it in the freezer, let it sit out for about 20 minutes before you eat it so that it can soften to the consistency you want.

Its really yummy so I hope if you try it out, you will enjoy it, just like I did!
